A Million Little Pieces Audio Book
Frey always had something within him, something he called the “the Fury” and had had it for as long as he could remember. A cause of rage and anger that he has managed to keep at bay since he was ten years old by annihilating his consciousness with drugs and alcohol. When the audiobook begins with his memoirs, he is 23 years old and wanted in three different states.
With a hole in his cheek big enough to poke a finger through, four teeth are missing; he is covered in vomit and blood, has no ID nor any idea where he is heading. It actually turns out that his parents have decided to send him to a drug rehab centre- the hard way! Frey does not want to give in to his problem or to discriminate against himself by calling his obsessions a disease. He insists being held totally responsible for the person he happens to be and the person he could become.
